Clearwater Grille in Dulutd

Clearwater Event Center delivered notable and exceptional kindness and customer service during our dinning experience! I was impressed from start to finish. I called to make a reservation and the politeness and consideration of the staff via phone was commendable. We entered the patio area and we were greeted with kindness and courtesy. It started to rain and our server, Olivia, was an absolute delight about moving us inside. I have managed high end restaurants and I literally found the experience with the staff at Clearwater Event Center to supersede most high end dining venues. Bravo Clearwater and staff. In this season of uncertainty and somewhat chaotic circumstances in the retail And dinning market, Clearwater Event Center and Grille stands out as a beacon and example to the restaurant world!

Called to reserve for Mew Years lady said because of storm from last weekend they are CLOSED NOT OPEN FOR NEW YEARS EVE. OMG.

Try to order food. Told grill was shut down and watched 8 different orders come out in next 1/2 hour. I’m a member of their loyal club. What a joke. Ta Ta for now will not stop or recommend this place to anyone again. But maybe if the owner likes u it is different.🤡🤡

It's always nice to stop in here from time to time. The food was good, and so was the service. The only thing I couldn't help notice was how dirty the windows were. Lol

Very good food in an upscale atmosphere with reasonable prices. The menu is varied, from starters to sandwiches to full lunch and dinner entrees. Service was quick and the server was friendly with a good sense of humor. We got a table by the expansive front windows directly overlooking Lake Superior. This is a great place you might miss if you stay on the freeway. Take highway 61 instead and enjoy the ambiance here.

Very, very good food. Excellent service. Hummingbirds, butterflies, dragonflies. Spectacular view of Lake Superior. A destination spot while visiting your North Shore destination spot!!

They cooked the prime rib to my preferences. Grilled to medium rare with sauteed veggies. It was perfect!

This place is lovely! Beautiful building that looks like a castle from the outside. Inside is a modern restaurant with bar on one side; a banquet hall and catering facility on the other. The food is great (try the prime rib or BBQ ribs on Saturday) the drinks are reasonably priced, and you can't beat the view of Lake Superior. If you're driving between Duluth and Two Harbors this is a must-stop to relax and have a drink in the evening.

Beautiful scenery out on the deck! They also had Alaskan Amber which made my experience complete!

Was very clean. The server was very personable.

The all you can fish fry was ok. They only initially serve you two pieces of fish and then when you want more they only offer you up to two pieces again. Other all you can eat fish fry that I have been to start you off with atleast five pieces and then you can order more than two pieces if you want.

Had a wonderful meal this evening! The front deck was shady and very pleasant. Menu was full of great choices and food was tasty! Madyln was an excellent server; super friendly and attentive.

Amazing views of Lake Superior! Excellent fish fry on Friday. The complimentary bread and honey butter that comes with the fish dinner is excellent.

I got the smoked salmon sandwich by for the best I have ever ate was very impressive I recommend everyone to eat here

This is a nice stop up the scenic North shore. Great sandwiches and outdoor seating!

Nice dinner, drinks were good and the service was great. Amber our server was very nice and a great server. We were seated by the pool table, not a good choice as a game was going on. Try the walleye wild rice egg rolls, they were a good taste of Minnesota.

View was great, food was great.

It was fantastic food. From the egg rolls to even their salad. The servers were extremely nice. The bathrooms were spotless. The atmosphere was relaxing and entertaining. Just a great spot to sit on the deck and look out to the lake.

We have not been seated yet.Reserved a table on the patio yesterday for 6:00 today. Arrived at 5:30 hostess asked us to come back at 6:00.We came back at 6:00. A different person told us they do not reserve patio seating. But we specifically reserved patio seating. He told us it would be a 30 minute wait. I said that's what she said 30 minutes ago. So now we're waiting again. My question is who is running the asylum?

Food was amazing! I ordered a chicken wild rice soup with tea. This was a perfect light appetizer. I was not as hungry for the meal, so I ordered Kreme BBQ shrimp. Those little guys were wrapped with crispy bacon and was accompanied with delicious BBQ. Service was good and attentive. The view was incredible!

Come for the view of the lake, that's about it. Service was so so, food was fine, deck view of the lake perfect.

The view is fabulous! And the service and food are fabulous!

The Bloody Mary's are really good but a little short on the snit fill. The food was okay but didn't really stand out as you might expect for the price. The burger was rather flavorless and over cooked although we didn't specify medium rare and the server didn't ask so maybe that's on us. The Panco breaded pollock was rather dense and dry. The positive was the fries were nicely done; golden brown and crisp. The service was very slow; took an hour to get our food our, but I can give a bit of a pass on that because they were exceptionally busy and under staffed for the number of tables. One thing that is outstanding is the view; right on the lake with huge windows in the dinning area to look out. In the summer, they have a great huge deck for outdoor seating.

Great little hipster bar. Love the food, love the environment even more. I highly recommend as a destination on a night out with friends!

Every time we do the North Shore, we stop at Clearwater Grille. We love Half Price wine Sunday's. Gives us a chance to try new wines. The staff is the best in helping us decide what would go with our meals. We are never let down with the quality of appetizers, or sandwiches nor the daily specials. Been stopping for years now. Wonderful place to watch the lake traffic from while sipping a new wine.

The food is fabulous and the view is amazing! My favorites are the Up North Salad and The Steak Gorgonzola Pasta. It can be made gluten free or served on wild rice too! The deck overlooking Lake Superior is A great place to gather with friends & family. Share A bucket of Beer & appetizers while basking in the sunshine with A view of the water. A must-go-to when traveling A long the North Shore!

Nice place good optuons..went for mothers day brunch and it was awesome

We had made reservations for our anniversary dinner .. we arrived got sat promptly but than we sat for 40 min with no hello or beverage order.. we did make eye contact we the severs working as they repeatedly checked on other tables ... I mean repeatedly at the other tables. Good thing I had a bottle of water in my purse. I mean with only six tables and 4 people working on the deck a hello shouldn't be to hard. Well we got hungry so we decided to leave and the kitchen was closingsoon at thispoint... even with our attempt to leave and let the staff kn ow the issue and that we were leaving we got nothing just a walk away. That was the worst dinner date ever hopefully yr 6 anniversary will be better wont be dinning there

Kind of leaning towards the old style supper club, nice atmosphere and good food. Just up the north shore from Duluth with a great view of lake Superior.
